Oi, eu sou Lucas, Brasileiro/Americano, casado com 1 filha de 10 anos e um filho de 8 anos. Fui para os Estados Unidos com 13 anos, cursei toda a High School na Hastings High School (class of 1993) em Hastings on Hudson, e faculdade no Manhattan College em Nova Yorke, cursei 4 anos de Engenharia Mecânica e me formei em Administração e Negócio Internacional pela SUNY (Universidade Estadual de Nova Yorke). Casei, trabalhei e tive minha primeira filha em Greenwich, Connecticut. Vivi durante 18 anos entre Nova Yorke e Connecticut nos Estados Unidos. Tornei-me um adolescente americano e vivi diversas situações típicas de filme. Iniciei minha carreira como professor de Inglês em 2005 quando me mudei para o Brasil. Trabalho em uma escola bilíngüe no Fundamental 2, ou primário, a mais de 5 anos. Estou acostumado com alunos de todas as idades, a partir dos 8 anos, iniciantes ou avançados. Sou comunicativo, descontraído e gosto de fazer minha aula de uma forma divertida para quebrar um pouco a seriedade do cotidiano. Estou familiarizado com vocabulários em diversas áreas, Direito, Engenharia, Ciências, Empreendedorismo, e demais. I became a typical American Boy, I lived various typical American movie scenes. I started my teaching career as an English teacher in 2005, when I moved to Brazil. I have been working in a Bilingual middle school for more than 5 years. I am used with students of all ages, from 8 years old on, beginners to high advanced. I am communicative, easy going and I like to make my class as fun as possible, so that the seriousness of your routines can have a change for once. I am familiar with a wide range of vocabulary, from Law, Engineering, Science, Businesses and so many more. Hello, My name is Sofia, I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Lisbon in Portugal and have been living in the very different but equally interesting city of São Paulo for some years. I´m bilingual as I studied in a British International School and hold the Cambridge Proficiency in English Certificate (CPE), which qualifies me to teach English. I also hold a B.A degree in Law. I´ve taught students of different age groups and levels and I have particular expertise in Business English as I also work as a consultant for foreign companies coming over to Brazil. I cover several business topics from the brazilian and international markets as this is what I do full-time! I´m also very aware and love to talk about more culture and art-related subjects. At any level I try to make my classes as tailor-made as possible, always with a more practical approach, with a lot of conversation and focusing on topics that are especially interesting to the student.
