PilotWings 64 é um simulador de voo amador no qual o jogador deve passar por obstáculos, concluir tarefas e missões que ficaram mais difíceis conforme ele avança de nível. Cada evento oferece controles exclusivos para melhorar a mecânica de jogo deixando a simulação muito mais imersiva para o jogador além de uma variedade de personagens jogáveis e quatro ilhas, cada uma delas vem com seus próprios recursos e riscos ambientais. Cada personagem possui peso diferente, e isso afeta o manuseio de um veículo. Escolher o personagem certo para um desafio não é crucial, o jogador pode definitivamente completar tudo usando quem quiser porém, é importante lembrar que cada personagem possui habilidade específica para uma certa missão. PilotWings 64 trás vistas de tirar o fôlego, tente alcançar a maior pontuação possível neste jogo cheio de aventuras.

Pilotwings é um jogo de simulação de voo onde o jogador tenta ganhar sua licença de piloto através de várias aulas de aviões leves, asa-delta e paraquedismo. Cada evento oferece controles exclusivos para melhorar a mecânica de jogo deixando a simulação muito mais imersiva para o jogador. O jogador deve ir para as áreas de treinamento que são chamadas de Flight Club para completá-las e ganhar a licença com base nas dificuldades, cada área tem diferentes eventos que podem ser jogados em qualquer ordem, que consiste em voar através de marcadores flutuantes dentro de um limite de tempo onde se diferencia na hora do pouso, como quando estiver utilizando o paraquedas ou aviões.
